1. Lake Victoria

Lake Victoria is a Freshwater lake and is shared by three countries Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzanian with three principal towns on the lake, Kisumu, Mwanza, and Kampala.

Lake Victoria is home to several Tour activities ranging from;

2. Ssesse Island

3. Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary

Ngamba Island is part of the Koome group of Islands located on Lake Victoria. It is 23 Km from Entebbe Town. It Consists of 100acres and was established in October 1998 and is a Home to Orphaned rescued Chimpanzees.

Day trips include Feeding times from the visitor viewing platform at 11:00 am and 2:30 Pm with an informative talk by the sanctuary staff as you enjoy the Island’s beautiful views, natural wildlife, and Birdlife. Watch the Chimpanzees as they Play, interact with each other, and Feed.

Caregiving Experience: This unique Experience offers you an opportunity to spend time with the Chimpanzees. This is a 2-4 Hour Opportunity to be behind the scenes of the sanctuary and participate in the daily routine like preparing Food, Cleaning Facilities, Health Checks and generally learning more about the efforts needed to take care of the Chimpanzees.
