Bwaise Slum Tour

The Bwaise slum, is one of the largest slums in Uganda, found in Kawempe Division on the outskirts of Makerere University hill.  Walking through the paths of Bwaise slum, you will be welcomed with lots of busy shops, ubiquitous motorcycle, and a community of crumbling structures that compete for non-existent space. The lack of developed infrastructure and poor service provision has exposed the town dwellings and residents to several challenges including flooding and water borne diseases.
